We are still in the process of re-editing all the routes and you may well notice some strangeness for a while, but bear with us and these will be sorted! We hope the site is easier to navigate and that we can now add even more content. This homepage is currently geared up for the transition from the old site to the new, and will be totally revamped over the coming months.

If you want route advice – then pop over to Mud and Routes and join the Walk Eryri Group in there. You can even submit your own routes on there, create a walking group with even calendar for your own walking group or just chat in the forum once there’s any members. Keep an eye out for member competitions in the very near future.

The previous Blog section is now a much improved website of its very own – Mud and Routes – which aims to provide new content for every weekday. Not on the weekend as that’s play time!

Any other files on the old site have been either deleted as they were hopelessly out of date, or put on the resources page.

If we used to link to you, then please contact us and we’ll add a link. If you’ve got a routes website, then we can also feature your site on Mud and Routes with a short bio (of yourself or the site) and a few choice links to your favourite walks from your site.

The routes are sorted by area and it is even possible to click on the summit name at the bottom of the post in order to see all the routes that go to that summit – we’ve implemented it for all the active routes.
