Moelwynion.

Strange bunch these. Start from the solitary Carnedd Moel Siabod in the north, which is tentatively linked to the southern Moelwynion proper further south. These hills also stretch east towards Dolwyddelan, for convenience.

cribau Moel Siabod and Carnedd y Cribau from Pen y Gwryd. Some remote and quiet terrain, with unexpectedly good views to Snowdon (if you're lucky!. (21km, 900m ascent 7 hours). hard
Llyn Edno Route Moel Meirch and Llyn Edno from Bethania. A walk up the Nant Gwynant valley before taking on the wild and boggy hills between Siabod and Cnicht (15km, 650m ascent). Moderate/ hard (bogs!!)
Allt Fawr Cnicht and Allt Fawr from Gelli Iago. A pleasant and unusual ascent of Cnicht, plus a trip out to these quieter outlying hills. (14km, 850m ascent) Moderate
pic Moel Meirch from Bethania. Rough and ready walk up to this summit over unmarked ground. Return via Llyn yr Adar and Ysgafell Wen (15km, 750m ascent). Moderate / Hard
pic Llyn yr Adar and Cnicht. Winter wild camp, with autumnal weather. Decent circular walk. (20km, 850m ascent) Hard
Siabod from PYG Carnedd Moel Siabod from Pen Y Gwryd. The best direction to do this as a day walk is in reverse, or up Daear Ddu. This walk was more of an add on to a wild camp than anything else. Moderate
Moelwynion and Cnicht Moelwynion and Cnicht from Croesor. A day walk that takes these hills in the opposite direction to the ususal Cnicht-Moelwyn Mawr-Moelwyn Bach. It will need decent navigational skills. (16km, 1000m ascent) Moderate / Hard
Moel Penamnen Y Ro Wen and Moel Penamnen circuit from Dolwyddelan. Remarkably remote walk while still not too far from civilisation that covers rough and pathless terrain (15km, 600m acent) Moderate / Hard
llyn edno Dolwyddelan Circuit - Moel Meirch and Ysgafell Wen. Another similar walk over what can be quiet hills. (30km, 1050m ascent).
llyn adar Cnicht and Ysgafell Wen from Beddgelert. Walk over some quiet hills, camping wild if you want. (22km, 1050m ascent)
llyn dinas Mynydd Sygyn From Beddgelert Visit some low hills near Beddgelert if you have a short day. Excellent views of the surrounding hills for very little effort.(6km, 390m ascent)
aberglaslyn pass Mynydd Sygyn Revisited Variation on the above walk, including the Aberglaslyn Pass. (8.5km, 410m ascent)
llyn dinas

Around Llyn Dinas. 5 km Easy

Picturesque walk around this gem of a lake. Path is not suitable for pushchairs, but is nevertheless easy terrain.
